The Cause

This year, Puerto Rico 360, Inc. is assigning funds raised from the San Juan City Bike Tour to the American Cancer Society of Puerto Rico. Proceeds from this year's event will go to the American Cancer Society's Niños Que Quieren Sonreir Hope Lodge as part of our continued effort and commitment. This project is a 33 bedroom, short-term residential facility designed to offer housing and support free-of-charge to any pediatric or adult cancer patient who travels to the San Juan area for treatment. The Hope Lodge offers several support opportunities for children and their families.

The Event - a Vuelta Puerto Rico Prologue?

Led by a half-dozen Road Captains, this 40-50 mile event is the unofficial first day of La Vuelta Puerto Rico, and is a great way to see our Capital City of San Juan! It will highlight some of the most intriguing neighborhoods in the metropolitan area and is excellent for you to tune up your bike and warm up your legs. The ride is expected to start at the Ballajá Quarters in Old San Juan right in front of El Morro Fort.

The tour showcases the diversity of our Capital City as it passes through the romantic cobblestone streets in the old city, the financial district of Hato Rey, the pristine beaches of Ocean Park and the historic architecture throughout San Juan. Keep an eye out for the Governor’s mansion, the Agrelot Coliseum, and San Felipe and San Cristobal historic forts, as well as various art galleries, restaurants, and shops along the way.

So again, let's run down what you will see:
