Charity: Liga Puertorriqueña Contra el Cáncer
For the 2010 edition of La VUELTA: Lighthouse Cycling Tour of Puerto Rico, we are happy to announce an alliance with the "Liga Puertorriquena Contra el Cancer" (Puerto Rican League Against Cancer). Since 1938, this organization has been treating cancer patients in Puerto Rico at the Oncological Hospital of San Juan.
As part of this alliance, we will be establishing islandwide and international attention towards this organization. A series of fund raising activities will be created to shore up funds while creating awareness of this serious disease that affects us all.
